Default Exhaust leak and what to do

Ok, so this past week I noticed a ticking sound and some nasty exhaust smell inside of my car. And I guessed it, the dreadful exhaust leak. Now that I have good reason to do some mods to my car here is what I'm thinking of...

I'm already set on the Megan stainless header. $150 on eBay

And I'm going back and forth between these 2 exhaust systems...
Apexi WS2
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/APEXI...item2ea6ed430c

Tanabe Medalion Touring
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TANAB...item2c503fdb34

But it says this for the Medalion: Medalion Touring Exhaust Requires Extension Adapter Pipe
Where do I get one?

I looked at clips on youtube and both systems are nice n quiet. I don't want any of that loud ricey bullsh*t. I like to do things right, even if it puts a little dent in my wallet.

As I say that, I need to rig something for my leak until I scrape together a few bucks for the header and exhaust.

So, do I do the old piece of aluminum, JB-Weld and 2 clamp trick to hold me over for a bit? Or is there something else better for a while?

Both of those exhausts are really nice. I'm not sure which one I would go with either given the opportunity... everyone has the WS2 now so much that I think I would rather have the Tanabe. But I have no idea what adapter pipe they are referring to.

And sorry, I don't know anything about temporary fixes for exhaust leaks.

Both are probably about the same from what Ive read. As far as the SRI goes, I would buy a cheap one off ebay for the piping and replace the cheap filter with a K&N.

I already have the AEM V2 installed so no need for a new one. Although my filter is starting to dry-rot a bit....hmmm
