ok so ive owned a honda before i had an 02 accord with all the goodies on it but i decided to get rid of it and get an 08 civic. and i was wonderin if anyone on here has heard or put the 08 si exhaust on a reg civic and how it sounds. cuz i just want a lil noise like the si nothing to loud like my accord had. thx

 

Howdy CivicLX08 - Hope you get a reply. I too am interested, not so much for the sound but the LX exhaust looks like heck. I went to the dealer saturday and was told LX didn't have an exhaust tip made for it. I asked if an EX tip would fit and was told that no, the exhasut is a different size. Doesn't make sense to me, same engine, same horsepower, but a different exhaust, strange.

dont listen to those guys. i work at honda in arizona and the EX exhaust tip will fit on the LX. Cuz i hated the look of the LX exhaust tip so i bought the EX tip and it does fit. all it is, is a bolt that holds it on.
