I have a Cat back performance exhaust on my 98 civic that keeps rattling on the control arm. i have tried to raise it up and wire it up there and i have raised it up to the point were i can't raise it any more. do i have to get a new exhaust set up? bend it? or is there something i can insulate the control arm with so that it doesn't rattle as much?

What are your guys' set up for exhaust through the control arm for lowered vehicles?

 

this might sound funny, but you could possibly use a sponge and wrap it around the bottom of the exhaust, might burn it though. or the one thing i know you could use is a heat wrap, (similar to those used on race headers to keep the heat in). i would suggest looking for the heat wraps, then try the sponge if all else fails.
