Default Exhaust tip

Hi all this is my first post and seems like a good place for any information I may need down the line for my new 2003 civic LX sedan which is also my first car! Since I'm still paying for it I don't want to do anything drastic to it and void my warranty. My question is I have the stock muffler and the tip seems to point slightly down. I'd like to bolt on a straight chrome tip but just wondering if I'd need any modification to the existing tip or should it just bolt right on? It just kinda bugs me the car looks great but then you see this ugly muffler tip there that could be masked with just $20-$40.

Default RE: Exhaust tip

Muffler tips for the most part, just are something that fit over the tip and weld on or bolt on. Im guessin that you might possibly have to get it bent or soemthing. Your best bet is to take it to a muffler shop and have them do it. Something like that would be cheap
