Default Got aem v2 installed on my 05 civic

Lemme tell you...I love it! The sound and everything is incredible, I love the deeper sound than the cold airs and the acceleration improved by alot. I have a couple questions though, well first of all I have a 05 civic ex. First question is..the breather hose seemed a little long..so its kinda pinched in a way, does that affect anything? because when I was installing it, the diresctions didnt say to cut it or anything so..I was just wondering. Second question is what other cars can my car keep up with or beat? Thanks.

Did you have a different intake before or was it stock?

I'm sure it could affect something, or it wouldn't be on there. Even if you don't wanna cut it, try to route it differently so that it's not kinked or pinched. There's gotta be a way.

cutting it wont do any damage. Just make sure the hose is hooked up to the intake pipe and to the motor. It doesnt have to be loose, make it pretty tight so there isnt slack. But it doesnt matter if u cut it.

The hose cant be pinched. You should cut the hose to fit properly, thats why it was probably a little long for error margin.
