Yeah, Remmy I got a similar issue aswell..

What I've heard from people is that the HX is just like the DX and LX and has the cat connected to the Exhaust manifold. I want to get a header and an aftermarket cat, but want to stick with my regular exhaust. Would I be able to just buy a stock ex exhaust (I can get one) and bolt the new header and cat to it and be able to have everything line up ok?

Sorry to thread Jack, but no sense in starting a new topic if we've got similar issues.

Nah, that won't work... You'll need a complete system from an EX... header, cat, and cat back.

If you buy me a Skunk2 cat back you can have my whole EX system.

Remmy i dont think youll get a whole bunch extra from running catless.........it is goin to make the magnaflow sound like azz too.

Im hoping it doesnt. I dont think the sound would be too much different. But I got them in and now im looking for a place to install them.

you would be suprised how much removing a cat can make cars louder. and crapier sounding.
