Default heat wrap

Im going to be getting some heat wrap for my header. I was just curious as to how it stays wraped. Do you have to clamp the end of it. or does it just some how not come unwraped. ????

Default RE: heat wrap

different brands have different methods of wrapping around and staying. none that i know of have a clamp however. some are self-adhesive, others just tend to stick to itself without the need of adhesives... static/small fibers maybe?

this site has some info you might read through
