i need to buy a new catilytic converter for my 98 civic ex...does anyone know of a certain website that i could buy one for cheap...im on a budget. Everything is bone stock on my car so do i need to get a oem one? or is there any other aftermarket ones for cheap? Thanks!

 

depending on where you live (CA~Excluded), aftermarket is available a lot cheaper then OEM, but its illegal to buy an aftermarket one in CA. you can buy either online,junkyards,or dealer if you want the oem.

 

yeah just go on ebay and get a test tube or a high flow cat... cheap way. just dont expect to pass emissions if you have to get it tested. thankfully i dont but my neighbor 2 doors down does... the border for the counties run between us.
