how much hp gain can i expect to see from a Aem V2 and a Magnaflow catback

Magnaflow says i can expect 9.2 hp and 7.7 lbs torque

Aem V2 says i should get some where in the neighborhood of 5.5 the test was on a 00 ex

 

That sounds about right; at least from my experiences. Some will tell you it won't be that much but those are both reputable companies and I have no reason to doubt their dynos.

That's some solid gains. When you gettin that stuff?

 

magnaflow catback give 9.2hp wow, is this even true, that seems like a lot.what about the evo 2

 

thats there numbers from their site and i can't find anyone that doesn't like thiers as far as reveiws and thats about the only site that i found that gives the sound of the exhaust.

 

that sounds about right, you could get more with the V2 depending on the car your putting it on. the problem with breathing options is an exhaust will give you 10, an intake will give you 5, so you put them on and expect 15 added horsepower, right? well unfortunately it never works out that way. the two together usually net about 8-12hp.

 

well i guess if it pans out that way i won't be that dissapointed i have a sedan anyways i can still make it sound and look real nice but not rice
