oh yeah, for my04civic's post, here's the actual link for the aem on their site, there might be other brands for that model on other sites though.

EJ6 do you have an 8th gen aswell? also are you running CAI or v2? is their that much of a difference and is it worth it for me to wait on the v2 for my 07 instead of just getting the CAI from AEM

no, i have a 6th gen (hence the screenname "ej6" lol) and i have a sri, not a cai or v2, but the the difference between the cai and v2 is barely any at all, some people swear by the v2, but the slight increase over the cai isn't worth the extra money spent, you can get a cai and spend the left over money you saved and get another mod or something that will be more functional than an extra 1 hp the v2 may have given you. and you won't throw any cel's with anything from AEM, unless you install the item incorrectly. plus i don't think a v2 would be worth buying for your car's engine platform.

ej6 why do you not think the v2 is a good choice for my platform... also the AEM CAI is like 260 for my car and i cant imagine the v2 will be much more

because your engine isn't the greatest motor to start out with, and the v2 is probably 100 more dollars than that, and you just have to shop around, you can find the cai's cheaper than 260. i'm just saying, you can use that extra money left over to get something else or go towards something else that you want. you can get it if you like, that's just my opinion, it's your choice and it's your money, don't let my opinion steer you away from something that you like or anything.

wtf... cell problems? CEL you mean? don't try to talk about something you don't know anything about. nobody should get a CEL unless they installed it incorrectly. even an ebay one won't give you a CEL.
sorry there dick, i added one L. and yes there is CEL PROBLEMS WITH THE AEM FOR THE06/07 MODELS. go search 8th gen civic forum, you will see how many have had troubles, check engine light coming on. yes aem is good, but not for the 8th gen(yet). Injen was also causing your check engine light to come one, but they fixed they problem. aem is in the process of fixing it.

also EJ i was kinda thinking on the r18 platform not being that great to start out with? im pretty sure the r18 is stronger than any stock motor in previous gen civics, and also it will sit side by side with a 2000 gen SI both bone stock, i believe it to be pretty nice actually, I was thinking about doing a K20 swap if it with drop in without fab. anyways just my thoughts
