Default Intake question

OK well Im pretty sure I know the answer to this question but Ill ask it anyways. Im getttin a Intake for my 97 3dr and Iam torn between a cold air intake or a short ram intake. I believe that the CAI would be my better choice but just want to make sure.

actually an intake is one of the 3 key starter mods that you will need if you truley want to boost the power of your car. short ram if you want mid range power and CAI if you want hi-end power.

I thought it was the other way around, cold air for low to midrange, short ram for high end. Longer tube creates velocity therefore making a good low-midrange HP, short ram is a short tube, meaning less velocity but more dense air.

Go with cold air intake you will lose hp with short ram when it gets hot.
