Default low end torque and hp loss

like the topic says, does an AEM v2 cause loss in low end torque and hp for a 05 lx a/t? the dyno results from AEM show gains throughout but on a civic SI AEM V2 review, there was a LARGE loss of torque on the low end.

i shouldn't imagine there would be a loss down low, but k20s do have to rev to the sky to get peak power.

swapping out intake plenum could cause a decrease in low end power, however.

It's possible, not likely though, that SI they reviewed; you need to look at what else was done to the car bc they NEVER just put an intake on and test/review, there's always other work done, so it may not be the V2 alone or at all, it may be a combo of other mods.

There may have been a low end sacrifice to gain top end. Generally that's just how engines work.
