a twin loop literally loops through a muffler twice....lemme get a picture



the exhaust loops through the muffler twice, quieting it down alot. The tip also looks stock other than it being chrome, so thats another perk of it. YouTube it, search for twin-loop muffler nad you should find some good clips.

 

I was doing a search but I can't find other than quiet down the exhaust what it actually does.

 

twin loop? yea it quiets it down quite a bit, its smoother/deeper/quieter than a big ol fart can, but still probably louder than stock.

Depending on how expensive the twin loop is, if you save your money a little while longer, you could probably just get the Magnaflow system, it's about $450 last time I checked, and a good twin loop is not cheap. Not to mention, this way you get the benefits of 2.25" exhaust tubing.

 

If you're not worried about voiding your warranty, go for it, but you should definately check on that before you add an aftermarket exhaust system.

I'm all for performance parts, but it's not worth it if you want to keep your factory warranty.

 

The reason rsr's are so expensive is because they have a twin loop within the canister...
