Well eventually I am going to turbo, but I want to have a little free money in the meanwhile and still have a bad *** civic. Just a little info, I am driving a 02 LX, that is the D17a1 motor I believe I am sure about the d17, alway mess up with the ending.

Anyway here is what I am looking to do, I know I have about 112-115 right now, and I am looking to have about 160-170.

AEM V2 cold air intake
Headers
Cat
Catback
Light Flywheels

That is all I can think of right now, and that would probably get me to 130, any suggestions, or am I just being unrealistic with the goal?

I was wondering, if after I do everything I should get my computer remapped to handle also my air fuel ratio to a more performance setting.

 

If you want my opinion skip all modding on teh D series engine and swap in a Bseries or K20 or H22. Any of those should put your car in the high-low 14 second range and give your car a little bit of a punch.

 

You are planning on turboing the D17?

 

yea they are pretty easy to turbo and are alot cheaper than a swap, if you search right. I am trying not to go the swapping route

 

also keep in mind, that I just bought this car and dealing with a car payment, the car does not even have 60K miles on it yet.
