i always thought bigger was better when it came to exhaust..but sum guy told me you dont want it too big cause its based on restriction. i bought new headers and they end up as a 2.5" tube...will that be too big for my car

i have a 93 dx non VTEC 1.5 d15

all help is appreciated

small piping is good for low end power and large piping (2.5+) is good for high end power.

2.50 is going to kill your low end. A 2.25 would be better IMO

you won't notice much of a difference from 2.5 to 2.25, but i guess .25 would be a little better. ALmost all aftermarket catbacks are 60mm, i think thats like 2.36 inches.

sorry i figured everyone would know i was talking about civics since he was asking about a civic. Almost all of the exhausts made by the big name companies for the smaller engined civics of the nineties (is that good enough) are 60mm.
