new muffler

RE: new muffler
idk man, if you're just dabbling into car modding for your first time, a mufflers not a bad first mod, although you'll probably catch some **** about getting the stereotypical "ricer fart can". If you just wanna get a muffler on there and see what its like, get one off ebay for like $30. Thats what i did and i was defintealy satisfied, sounded a lot better than i expected. Just search for universal muffler, there's thousands of auctions for them. If you're serious about it though, eventually you'll want to do what Forty04 said, get a good cat-back exhaust and probably a new header, you cant beat that.

RE: new muffler
Well you CAN get real name brand parts from ebay for a good price, but if the titles say for example: DC-S Header, or GReddy Evo 2 Style, those are not legit stuff. If you can find auctions where it was just GReddy Evo 2 Cat Back Exhaust, or DC Sporst Performance Header, then maybe it's good.
JC Whitney is good, so is the Car Domain store, and the Auto Part Warehouse. Those are just a few. Good luck man.

I just got a muffler (plus a bunch of brake parts) from Auto Parts Warehouse, from their Canadian site I got a Bosal muffler for $95.95 (price on their site) for a 1991 HB, free shipping and came in 4 days, pretty impressive service.
