I just bought my Civic a couple of weeks ago and didn't realize until after but I don't have a muffler tip. Don't get me wrong it sounds nice, but I've had to out run the cops a couple of times to avoid a ticket because its too loud. Any suggestions on what type of exhaust tip I should get? I want it to sound like it has a lot of power and I want it to perform with a lot of power. Any sugestions????

A muffler tip is a little piece of metal which clamps onto the tail pipe of a muffler. This affects sound in no way.

Do you mean you don't have a muffler, or your tail pipe fell off?

How much are you looking to spend? A nice Apexi WS2 exhaust kit runs about $400-$550.

 

I out run cops by going in and out of streets thats all. and it's only happened twice. Just started a new job so kind of strapped on cash and can't afford paying a ticket.

Yes thats correct I don't have a muffler. My fault for getting the words mixed up..

The exhaust is there I just don't have a muffler and I thought having a muffler would make it quieter so I don't have to worry about getting a ticket.

 

So you avoid cops, not outrun them. Bad word choice.

I am sure you will get a ticket for not having a muffler.

If you want an aftermarket exhaust, go to youtube and listen to the different set-ups and go from there.
