Hey my names Nate, and im new to the whole car scene but i know what i want to do with my car and everything, but i want to purchase a SRI andCAI would i be able to buy both, or would i be better off just buying a SRI. Also how many miles does a SOHC motor last because i just purchased a 1993 honda civic si with 158,000 miles for 2 grand was it worth it... and last question the DC header worth it yes or no THANKS!

 

you can only use one, either sri or cai....... you cannot put both because you only have one stock airbox not 2, i bought my 92 civic with 112,000 miles for $1200, but thats jsut me , i cant tell you if it will last long because i dont know how well maintained its been but generally honda motors last long, and a dc sports header is a good product, but im assuming you have a d-series engine so i doubt youll see noticible gains, after all its up to you

Just get a good sri because the differences in a cai and sri arent even noticeable. DC is a good brand w/ quality products but if youre not looking to spend that much $ on a few horses then just go with a Megan header. IMO megan is just as good as DC for the amount each one costs. No matter what intake and header you go with youll only be getting a few horse gain but the sound will be much nicer.

 

Now if i am gona spend money on a really good header which one should i get and am i better off with 4-1 or 4-2-1!

 

They are both very good brands but megan has the edge on price so it is completely up to you. Id go w/ a 4 21.
