Hey my names Nate, and im new to the whole car scene but i know what i want to do with my car and everything, but i want to purchase a SRI andCAI would i be able to buy both, or would i be better off just buying a SRI. Also how many miles does a SOHC motor last because i just purchased a 1993 honda civic si with 158,000 miles for 2 grand was it worth it... and last question the DC header worth it yes or no THANKS!

o hell. you can buy both intakes....not sure why you would but hell, i can buy 4 turbos for the civic if i want to. and get a megan racing header over dc unless you livein cali

 

ya why do you want a cai and sri if you want both go injen the have a conversion for sri to cai

 

$2k sounds fair... SOHC or DOHC has no impact on how long an engine will last. With maintenance and respect your car should last for many years to come. My neighbors civic has 300k+ miles on it and its still running strong.

 

yeah as long as you take care of your sohc it will last you forever. and with the sri and cai you only need one or the other. 2k is a fair price.
