so i am finally getting arounf to fixing my o2 sensor problem but another problem has presented itself, i ordered two new o2 sensors but they arent marked to which one is the front or which one is the back. one has wires with about 9 inches and the other maybe 4-5 inches so does anyone know if the long one goes in the front bank or the rear bank.

does anyone maybe have a close up picture of the o2 sensors on an 6th gen lx (i think the ex is different but im not sure) so i can determine which one goes where.

i know they are two different sensors (two different honda part numbers) so does anyone maybe know the resistance value of the stock front or rear o2 sensor i can test them with a multimeter.

i imagine the one with the longer wire is the secondary (lower) one.

 

that is what i thought to but i have seen a few pics of the engine bay which it looks like the longer one wraps around the top of the manifold so it is the longer one, i juts kind of need a confromation

no it does make perfect sence i agree but i have been working on cars for quite some time and there are many times where it is compleatly backwards than what you think so i have learned to make sure first
