oxygen sensor
yes and it is for alot of reasons all of which i dont have the money to fix rite now. not only do i not have the money to fix them but by the time i am thru i might as well just do a swap rite now i have no v tech and i want a v tech
here is what i did.
1. get a dorman spark plug non-fouler (18mm) size would fit a older ford truck. there about $5, and has 2 in each box. (advanced auto parts, and auto zone have them)
2. then drill a 1/2 inch hole in one of the non-foulers,
3. then screw in your secondary O2 sensor into the 1/2" drilled non-fouler.
4.take the undrilled spark plug non-fouler, and screw it onto the bottom of the drilled fouler
5.then screw in the O2 sensor into the drilled one.
6. once you have your 02 sensor installed again using both non-foulers, unplug your negative side of the battery for about 1 min.
7. reconnect your battery and your good to go.
this will make it so the CEL will not turn on for your o2 sensor, but it will still let you know if something else is wrong. this really works and it the best thing to do. costs $5 and take about 15 minutes.
