Oxygen sensor question
I was took my 98 HX into a shop to get it smogged and they told me my engine had a trouble code stored even though the light wasn't on at the time. They told me the code description was "catalytic converter not running to efficiency." I took my car to a different shop to get a diagnostic done and they said I need to replace my EGR valve and put in OEM O2 sensors. I had the sensors replaced approximately six months ago and so I was a little hesitant to shell out the $790 for new sensors. I figure they know more than me and so I'm going to replace the sensors like they said but I was just wondering if I really need to buy OEM sensors or if they were just saying that because I'm a chick. Can I just spend the $150 or so and get them off of Autozone or some other auto parts store?
Any advice would be welcome.

yeah you can get them at AutoValue, and honeslty its not hard to do yourself. Get an open ended wrench and unscrew the sensor, then unclip the harness and oyu're all set. (installation in the opposite of reverse. You'll want to disconnect the negative battery terminal and let it sit like that for 15 minutes to reset hte ECU and recognize the new sensor)
