I HAVE THIS POS HEADER ON MY 88 1.5L HATCH AND IT SUCKS THE PACESETTER COMES WITH
CHEAP GASKETS AND THE SYSTEM LEAKS LIKE A SIVE. I MUST HAVE REPLACED THE GASKET
FOR THE HAEDER AT LEAST 5 TIMES.

THE PACESETTER HEADER HAS THE WORST GASKETS EVER MADE, I HAVE A 1.5L 88' HATCH
WITH A FULL PACESETTER EXHAUST WHICH IS JUST HORRIBLE, ALL THE GASKETS ARE PAPER
AND THE MUFFLERS INTERIOR SOUND LIKE IT HAS BROKEN INTERNALL PARTS
STAY AWAY FROM PACESETTER AND SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION![:@]

i had a pace setter header on a 00 cavalier and would only recomend it if you get the armor coated ones. otherwise DC would be my first choice.

I've heard that some people haven been unsatisifed with the quality of welds on the pacesetters but that was with the domestic V8 car and truck crowd.

this post is old as crap, so no one's reading it anymore most likely...

BUT for what its worth, the uncoated pace setter headers will rust very quickly... i put a set on a tacoma.. the construction was good, but the stock black paint literally burned off within 20 min... then they rusted.

to use the uncoated you'll have to put some high temp paint on them.. but you'll have to remove the stock black paint first... pain in the butt...

its dumb that pace setter ever sold the exhaust stuff w/ plain black paint knowing it would burn off immediately.
