anybody have their head ported and polished? any ideas on how long it should take? my mechanic started porting and polishing around three weeks ago and i asked about it today and he is still porting and polishing. should it really take this long? i'm goin crazy here!

Umm, no. It should not take that long to P+P. I would go down there and get some of my money back from him and smack him with it.

 

Honda heads dont really need Porting, being the ports are almost perfect, however a good polish and 3 angle valve job would do ya some good......................................this guy is likke a celeb here, we never know when hes around. Good to see ya freaky.,

damn pcupo i see you changed your name. naw man i aint no celeb. ha ha. just been down in the dumps with no ride and no place of my own. anyways i forgot to mention that he is machining the valve seats 1mm over. anyway, it still shoundt take this damn long. i am really getting anxious here! all my parts have long since been ordered a while back and the last one arrived around a month and a half ago. anyway now that i have my own place again i will hook up a phone and a computer asap and join the fun again. i cant wait.

hey 97_nw i hate to admit it but my ride has been down since october. thats 4 months goin on 5 now! the d-series blew and i jumped into a project i wasnt ready for. oops
