i have a 92 95 civic hacthback and ive heard it before but recently the rattling in my exhaust has been getting louder especially in the mornings. Its time for a new exhaust il prob go and c wats wrong with it but ive always wanted a better sounding exhaust. The only problem is im new to all this so im not quite sure theres cat back mufflers i prob sound very thick :P. What i want is a great sounding exhaust thats affordable at the moment my price ranger is 200 maybe 250 quid im skint :P. Thanx guys
You can find all sorts of stuff.
Do you plan to install yourself or have someone else do it?
Here is a pic of a 95 DX hatch with a greddy SPII system
The red is where catbcak starts....at the catalytic
The blue is the resonator (to kill off high pitch sounds...the tinny garbage sound)
The yellow would be axle back exhaust..
And the muffler is self explanitory....
The rattle maybe caused by a bad cat....will also cost you mileage etc...bad running engine. Sometimes the heat sheild vibrate to...poke around a bit and see what you find...EBAy or Junk yard might be best for low $$$
