I am definatly going back to short ram. My CAI gave me alot of problems last year. We had quite a bit of days with realy hard rain. My car died twice and a few other times I had to pull over untill it let up. I didnt even go through a puddle either! Plus the short ram definatly gives your car a meaner sound, and a little bit better torque off the line.

what kind of problems did it give you? I highly, HIGHLY doubt it was the cai's fault your car died.

Yeah, the only times a CAI will give you problems is when it get completely submerged. It is true though, that the SRI should give you slightly better throttle response and possibly a bit more torque (at a lower rpm) than a CAI would, but the CAI will almost ALWAYS give you more hp.

Congrats on the first mod though PURPLECIVICCOUPE!
