glad i cheaped out and returned my V2 on this civic for the SRI.. less money for more hp.. course thats if the D's have same results..

 

That dyno of the SRI looks better than the V1 and V2! I always thought my SRI had better pull up on the top end.

 

The engineers at AEM must be fools... the V2 is their flagship and it sucks compared to there own SRI.

 

ok....may be a stupid question but why don't they make a V2 for automatic transmissions???
Am I missing out on something here?

 

im happy with my aem sri. almost glad i didnt spend the extra $120+ on the v2 or any cai...

 

I was lucky enough to get my V2 for $150 used.

just so you guys know...these dynos prove nothing. if they installed all these intakes on a fully built engine, then it would mean something...but a 1-2hp difference doesnt mean ****.

 

I would like to see AEM's test results that claim dynoing with the hood up gives more accurate to real life results.

Chances are you're not going to be able to feel the hp difference between any of them. It's more about increased throttle response than anything. However, the colder the air the better, so stand by the CAI being a better option. If not for power, than longetivity.
