Default an intake ? that doesn't involve SRIs and CAIs

holy crap... I bet you guys aren't used to that [8D]

Anyway, after discovering that in order to do a transmission swap, pulling the whole engine is basically required, I figured why drop $3k on a transmission swap and turbo kit on a sohc 1.6l when I can spend the same amount on an h22 that makes more power (stock) and has an lsd. Anyway, I was wondering... would I be able to use one of Password:JDM's PowerChamber intakes designed for an EG/EK civic on my EG even though it would have an h22 engine? I noticed the intakes are designed for the chassis, not the engine. I pretty much have my heart set on a PC intake... anybody know which one would work?

I take it nobody knows lol... I kinda figured that since there aren't many members here with h22 swaps... oh well, I'll just email or call Password when I get closer to affording the swap.[8D]

i think it'll work , when i ordered my aem v2 i orderd itfor a b16 and i have a b18c aka GSR but since i had a skunk2 intake mani it bolted up just fine. why i did this? cause if i ordered it for a gsr well the stock manifold is different than the skunk2 so i had to order it for the b16 because its the same desing so i think u'll be just fine h series manifolds look a lot like b16's

I was thinking it would (if all else fails, I can just get a different-sized silicone coupler to attach it to the throttle body).. I'll probably end up emailing them before I order just to be 100% positive... I'd rather not spend $180 on an intake just to send it back because it doesn't fit lol

but thanks for the confirmation
