Default STOCK INTAKE???

I just got my license...n i jus got my 1st car...its a 2000 civic ex 1.6 DOCH...so im new to all of this...i jus wanna know how can i get the most out of my stock intake cause im low on cash since i jus finsh buying the car

get a drop in K&N filter.........personally id leave it and just save for an intake

Thanks i was thinking about the K&N too...but is there anything that i can modify to get extra airflow

Thanks but when i said "modify" i meant what can i modify i on the stock intake to gain extra airflow

what some people would do it drill holes in the air box to let more air flow inside, i think thats about the only thing u can do, unless u want to get crafty with dryer hose and such lol, but i would forget about it for now and save up and get yourself something good, u dont want to go showing off dryer hose and drilled holes..save up!

yea i dont think that dryer hose is the way to get 1st place in a car show lol thanks for the comment tho i think im gonna jus save around $200 and get the weapon r secert weapon

Sorry i wish!!! i wrote it wrong its a SOHC...i wish it was a DOHC...i never noticed i wrote it wrong...by the way how much would a swap go for

Take out the resinator on the bottom of the air box. I did this and I guess maybe it helped a bit... it sounds better at least. It's really easy to do, just take off the front bumper, find the three bolts, take them out and slid it out. If you don't care about saving the parts you could cut the tube that goes from the airbox to the bottom right before it goes back up and make a CAI out of the stock parts.
