Default tubular?

question:
there are two typse of turbo exhaust manifolds and i want to know which would be the better of the two...
Tubular design or the straight 4 - 1? Which has better turbo spooling characteristics? any other reasoning behind your decision? thanks.

This is an intake, header board. This should be posted in the turbo supercharger area. That could be a reason why no one is responding.

I believe he is talking about the 2 different manifolds. I believe these 2 are what he is talking about.

A tubular equal length header like pictured a bove in the bottom attachment will obiously be better for spooling and flow but they tend to crack if the car is driven often due to the stress of all the weight of the turbo and the heat they produce the casted manifolds are a great durable manafold and will flow great expecially when ported and polished. Just my .02 there is no need for a tubular unless your strictly drag or are upwords and beond 600WHP. They do look nice though. Good luck

oooh ok, yeah I've never heard them referred to as "4-1 and tubular headers" but rather "Log Manifolds and and Ramhorns"
