Default want to increase performance!!

alright so i have a 99 civic ex and i want to boost up performance. i already have an intake and im on a pretty tight budget. im not looking for a huge project like a turbo or engine swap so is there anything i can do to increase my horsepower and/or performance. any advice is appreciated.

dito... you can only do so much to the 4cylinder stock motor... its either QUALITY turbo system or stock motor.

my advice keep saving or deal with it.... only thing some people could tell you to make the performance feel alittle better is with full weight reduction... BUT your car will look like total crap gutted and will have alot of interior road noise. not worth that 10th of a second you MIGHT GET at a race track..

gut your interior, it's free. You'll drop .3 s in the quarter mile and you'll get to drive around looking really cool because everyone will know that you have a race car

there is pretty much nothing you can do to it to make it fast for cheap, and if it is an automatic you wont gain much power due to the transmission i think
