LOL ya if its a automatic youll never feel a difference... tho the butt dyno will fell like it but run some numbers and it doesnt.LOL my 99was a auto and thats why i sold it, it was just to slow after owning a 5speed manual.
the auto tranny holds back quite a bit of power expetialy when the motors only got about 120hp so any loss in power sucks already. now put that 120hp on a tranny that you can fully control and it feels good performance wise. tho still not a race car. i got beat by alot of people in the civic doing stop light quick starts. i tried to keep them from getting infront of me at this construction area in town and i seemed to always loose. but now with my truck i got the power and pure size to hold my own and keep them from getting infront of me. and if that still fails.... ill blast my semi air horn and freak em out real good LOL

yeah but there is little things you can do like upgrade the headers, cat and catback, maybe even do a mini me swap, those arent to pricey. for performance, you can lower your car, it will help keep you at a better center of gravity, you can take turns better and stuff, plus it looks sexxy as hell lol. but yeah, cheap cars aint fast, fast cars aint cheap.

Trust mentioned the "header" because you said "headers". On our 4 cylinder engines, there is only one of them.
