O.k. right know I have header back on my 2000 civic ex. It's all cheap ebay stuff and it's really loud so I was wondering what new exhaust I should get. I want the quietest one out there thats still going to give me the most peformance. So any suggestions on what header, cat, and exhaust I should get. Remeber I want quite with peformance so my gf can stop yelling at me for a loud car.

IHE will inevitably make your car louder. all intakes and headers will give you the same increase in sound. however, for exhaust, get an rs-r ex mag. it's not cheap, but it fits exactly what your looking for: performance at a near stock sound.

 

for catalytic converters, in order from quiet to loudest.
stock--> hi-flow cat from magnaflow --> test pipe by whoever...
