Default what kind of exhaust?

i dont know anything about skunk 2 and different exhaust and stuff i was wondering if i could get some help on something not to expensive and sounds good to put on my 91 hatch any suggestions

You get do a search on the site and find ALOT of info on different exhausts.

read the exhaust faq. you'll see a good list of exhausts. after, pick a brand, go to youtube to listen to it. if you like it, but the muffler only, and have a shop weld it on for you, or have them make a entire catback system for you.

It depends on what you want. Are you going for a certain sound or do you want to make more power? I know it sounds funny, but exhaust systems that make the engine sound like an animal don't necessarily do a whole lot as far as performance goes. Likewise, a setup designed for performance doesn't always "sound" monstrous.

If you are looking for performance, look for a design that is very free-flowing. If you are looking for more than just "cat-back" (from the catalytic converter to the exhaust pipe tip), a header will help.

A header is a group of tubes that is bolted on to the engine and welded together which, by design, helps to draw the exhaust gases out of the engine. Here is a picture of a header.

yea i like that my05civic i want something that sounds good, i know ppl that have skunk 2 exhaust and it sounds goood i went to the website but for that price i think it would be a while at least enough time for me to save up....i dont think i need a header ...but how would you know if u needed one like bad.. of if the one i have on now is ook?

i found a dynomax App: 1991 Honda Civic for $240 but it wont let me hear the sound but sounds good to me by te description!
