i have a 2007 civic lx and im looking to start out with a little loud noise. any suggestions on what i should do to give me some more sound at the cheapest price?

 

If you just want loud you might as well cut off the muffler.

Don't go loud.

 

take the hole exhaust off the headers the down pipe and the rest if you want loud. jk dont do that. get a cat back exhaust then do the headers and down pipe. that will make your car sound nice if you get the right one. i dont no what brand to get dont ask me sorry.

 

I agree with Trust dont go loud...shoot for a deep sounding muffler with a nice headers, downpipe, and catback set-up.

 

OP, how old are you?

I ask because if you are young/dumb/inexperienced you will want a loud exhaust right now but after driving with it for a week-month you will become very irritated with a loud fart cannon of an exhaust.

Most members on this site have went through the stage and will try and steer you away from that wasteful path.

There are systems that sound good/stockish and there is different options for a good sound. Some cost more than others.

 

you want deep not loud. but not to deep. if it's to deep at higher rpms it'll sound like a fart cannon. check youtube for exhaust sounds and pick one out. hell before i knew anything thats what i did.

i'm a big fan of hks. so i'd say hks hi-power.
