Default Would like a new exhaust on my 97 Civic DX

I've got a 200$ budget, I don't think I can get a full exhaust for that, maybe just the catback? I don't want anything too loud, I'd prefer a low, deep sound. Tell me some brands and tell me how much I'm looking to pay please! Any advice is appreciated.

low deep sound, not loud unless you get to high rpms, doesn't get raspy

apexi ws2
greddy sp2

I have the apexi exhaust, love it, but they're about $450

I don't know of any catback for $200, but I'm pretty sure it's going to sound like ****. I could be wrong though.

Maybe you can find a used one on craigslist or something.

You can find a cat back exhaust for $200, but remember, you get what you pay for... especially with exhaust components. I suggest the SP2 and the WS2 as well.

There is also a sticky at the top of the I/H/E section regarding prices/sound/etc etc

How about this? http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/...w00013801.html
It's a Flowmaster 60 series, I found this sound clip of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzbPN62-aaY

IMO i dont think a flowmaster belongs on a civic. I prefer magnaflow. i've also heard some good stuff about obx twinloop, might want to youtube that. but i prefer apexi ws2 though

yea i agree flowmaster does not belong on a civic. I got the 60 series off summitracing.com and yeah I would take those $220 back. It does have nice deep clean tone at high rpms though.
