So, the tires plus the Zinik's (which is what I'm leaning towards) together weight 49 lbs. Does anyone know how much the stock tires and wheels weigh?

I dunno about yours, but my stock 14" steelies were about 38lbs w/ tires.

And like remmy said, its your ride so you do what YOU like, caue thats all that matters in the end.

Oh, and I didnt know they were chrome plated, i just assumed they were regular chromies.

They're both one-piece chrome-plated aluminum SP cast.

I guess I need to think twice about chrome wheels anyway. I don't want to have to hassle with rotating tire/wheel combos every winter; especially considering that I live in an area that cycles through all 4 seasons.

Thanks for all your input!

I dont think he really cares about performance and sickness factor. I think he just wants simple pimp factor.

LOL!!! OK...maybe only a little. But, I want people to look at the car, and say exactly that, "Look at that car... Is that a CIVIC??"

I would go with the 17's they have a more "racing" look to em. 18s look too big to me

Yeah, i would vote for 17's also, but if how pimpin it is is ur deciding factor then go with 18's, but atleast find some ones that dont weight 500lbs. I guess thats a slight exaggeration, but try to keep the wheels light weight. Remeber, the more unsprung weight u add the slower it accelerates and the longer it takes to brake. Any way you go ur gonna have a pimpin car, most average ppl still dont recognize the new civics.

peace, Evan
