96 to a 99 conversion...

Default 96 to a 99 conversion...

i have 96 coupe and i want the front end of the a 99 coupe... has anyone actually done this? i know the body styles are almost exactly the same but, do i need to mod anything or can i just buy 99 fenders bumper, grill, headlight housings and call it a day? do i need a new hood too? any suggestions? i just really want the oem 99 headlight housing and the bumper...

you need 99-00:
fenders, headlights, bumper, hood

i found a post somewhere else about how it is done but it said something about welding the radiator support to fit the bumper? or the bumper support? do i have to weld? or can i just through the pieces on?

i dont think welding is needed, fenders, hood, grill, bumper, headlights, all from 99, and you should be good.

hopefully i dont need to weld anything.... because one i dont have expeirence and two i really wanted to do it myself but thanks and if anyone knows anything else about it let me know please!!! =]

You won't need to weld. Just get all the parts and then make your car look 10x better.
