Default Air Brushing

Hey,

Well I'm toying with ideas for the spring. My car is a pretty standard green color and i'm looking to ****e it up a little. At first I was going to paint it Kandy blue 100% but this is brutally expensive and the paint is in pretty good shape. I was at the shop today and one of there airbrushers had done a motorcycle gas tank with realistic flames on a black background and then they had done a perfect clear coat. Man did it look awesome. So I had the idea for Kandy green and blue realistic flames over the the front of the car extending down the side and fading out on the rear door. Anyone done air brushing before? This is about $2500 worth of work which isn't bad. These airbrushers are amazing. Ill see if I can get some pictures.

I know exactly what he is taking about, I got the dash in my hot rod painted like that I'll take a pic when I get home. It turned out freaking awesome. It is like 12x6 and it cost me about 250 bucks to get painted, it is absolutely ridiculous how real it looks. You guys will flip out when you see it!

I thought about doing the saran wrap one but its brutally expensive and only looks good if the car is done all over. The flames will be a lime green and ill get some pics tomorrow of the motorcycle tank they did AND ill see if I can find some pics.

Also I was quote $2500 for about that much ^ of air brushing. Although on top of that will be around $1000 worth of rust repair to make the car mint.
