amp paint

hey has anybody ever painted there amp? i am kinda thinkin about painting some black graphics on mine.. would it change the coolling or anything? i have a v12 alpine MRV-1005 and its gettin old.. it doesn't have an internal fan to keep it cool.. thats hwy i am wonderin about if the paint would effect it or not..

Shouldn't matter. There will still be heat exchange through the paint. Especially if your just doing small graphics stuff .Just make sure if there are any inlets or anything that you cover them so you don't spray the inside.

It would be fine to paint it. I would try and take the cover off, like the part your going to paint, this way you dont risk getting paint into any adjustment ***** and such.
