I had to have my exaust pipe bent because the muffler was up against the kit melting it but thats it, $30 to fix it.

Let's try this again. The Vision Aerodynamics "VFIBRE" EVO5 bodykit as a trapizoidal shaped center exit exhaust port. Not every site that carries the body kit, carries the exhaust tip. Those sites that carry the exhaust tip only tell you the price. None list the intake size of the tip. I have contacted 4 different sites that carry the tip and they tell me it's set to the stock exhaust size, and can't tell me if I can get the tip in a larger diameter if I upgrade. The tip is always listed in the universal parts section of the site, and doesn't have a variable intake size selection if you try to buy it. I cannot find the official site of Vision Aerodynamics. Can anyone assist me with either the intake size or the company's contact info?

Seems like you have more info on this than anyone else. I don't even know what the kit looks like, nor do I think it matters, I think what you are going to have to do is go CUSTOM on the exhaust side of things.. To hell with a bunch of calling around about what the tip fits and dosn't. Anygood muffler shop wiill have a pipe bender that they can make anyangle that you would need to get. Just make sure its a mandrel bend and your in there like swimwear! I'm assuming that you plan on doing an exhaust system anyway so it looks to me like you newed to take the all custom approach no matter what at this point. At least thats where I would take it.

I know of the "exhaust port" he's talking about and it's just to fill the lil void in the center of the bumper...... me personally I'd just say mesh that part and cut an exhaust tip opening where your exhaust tip is and call it good.

Thanks all... A lot of great info, as I've come to expect from this forum. Finally tracked down an answer from Ground Dynamics. If I go with the EVO-5, I'm going to have to stay stock on exhaust diameter or go custom on the tip. Next time I have a question, I'll make sure I add all info I already have, and be more specific about the answers I'm seeking. The reason I was so hung up on this issue was that I couldn't believe that the 7th gen civic was the only car this kit was available for. Of course, if it were available for other cars, they would need tips with different intake sizes to accomidate different stock exhaust sizes. Thanks again.

OK... I'm not completely up on the rules here, but this is the only site I can think of that has both the kit and the tip. Go to grounddynamics.com, click on body kits, 04-05 civic, and scroll all the way to the bottom. To view the tip, click on Universal Parts, it's on the first row of parts. I know this site is not a sponsor or a link, but like I said, it's the only site I can think of with both.

Why would you want to throw a kit on? The 04-05 style is nice. You should think about a front and rear lip to enhance the look of your car and then with the left over money you can work on any engine work or CAI / SRI, Headers or Exhaust.
