Tada. Not that dark, I admit. But it's noticeable and I think it looks a lot better. Also helps reduce heat/sunlight in the cabin, which is nice. I could have gone darker than legal, but bleh... this town is crawling with cops, it's just not worth it.

wow they did a great job cleaning that engine bay...time for some headers and a new valve cover and perhaps some spark plug wires?
OK couple of questions.

1) Where can I buy new valve covers, how much do they usually cost, and how difficult is it to install them? There's a guy selling custom-painted valve covers on ebay, but I'm pretty sure he sells the painted ones and has the buyer send him their old one so that he can paint that one and sell it, etc. etc. I'm not really keen on buying somebody else's used valve cover, painted or not.

2) Will new headers do any good without a new exhaust? Also I'm a n00b remember... sue me for asking, but what difference is there (other than physical appearance) between 4-2-1, 4-1, one-piece, two-piece, etc.?

3) What good do new spark wires do other than looking pretty? Where can I buy some, what are some good brands, and what do they cost? I assume new spark plugs to go with them would probably be a good idea. Recommendations there?
Tint looks fantastic man! as for your questions..

1) Paint the valve cover yourself, its very simple, and will probably only cost you about 10 bucks in supplies.
2) I personalyl don't recommend getting a header(not header"s") until you can complete the exhaust (ie, high flow cat, and cat-back). They say 4-2-1 supposedly gives more mid-range power, while the 4-1 will put the power more to the top end. Most people won't even notice this difference, as it is very slight. As for a comparison between one and two peice, that i'm not sure of.
3) You can get plugs and wires at almost any auto-store, and all over the place online. The do "look pretty" but they will also aide in the electric part of your performance as well. Yes, when upgrading wires, you should do plugs as well. Not required, but recommended. As for brands, you'll have to wait for someone else to answer that, as i havent had any experience with the aftermarket stuff yet

My clear-corner headlight assemblies arrived this morning. Hopefully you guys don't think clear corners are too ricey... I think this car will look a lot better once I get rid of all the exterior amber... all silver/black exterior = yummy.

I'll post some pics later once I've installed. Didn't want to do it yet b/c I haven't gone out to get the amber corner bulbs, and I don't want to be driving around with clear bulbs in a clear assembly

just having brand new CLEAN headlight assemblies makes a world of difference. Even my crappy generic superwhites look a lot brighter and better. Oh and the bluish effect in the corners is b/c of the bulbs... sylvania silverstar 2057's... or were they 1157's... eh whatever. They looked like the same connector as the factory blubs so I gambled they would fit and I was right. They put out amber light, but it's got some kind of blue/purple lense over the filament that makes it look that way when the lights are off.
