Hey, does anyone know where i can get some black mesh grills for a 97 civic EX? upper and lower, i stopped by a local shop and they said the could order me some but it was going to be $90 for the upper and $250 for the lower + shipping..which sounds way too expensive

I am actually waiting for WindCalmer to do a DIY on how to do the mesh grille by myself... if I am too dumb to do that I am definetly going to buy from The Grill Guy on Ebay... great prices. You can also look at the vendors for HCF like CorruptMotors... they just dont make much for 04 civics yet!

 

You can also get that kind of grill at home depo for like pennies (my buddy has like a 12" by 4' section in his basement that he spend I think two bucks tops on) which is great since you're already there to buy the paint...

 

i did the home depot mesh & spray paint
after about 4 days i ripped it off - didnt like it -- too flexible
it should have some kind of a frame around it to stiffen it up

 

Yeah, I couldn't even find the mesh at Home Depot...maybe mine doesn't carry it.

 

Yeah I should have the DIY up in a week or so.

 

its not all that hard guys, how did you put yours in aol.... mine is pretty stiff i got the thicker stuff also though. sometimes it is called chicken wire or fence .

 

i wish someone made a billet grill kit............
