body kits
Well, to tell you the truth, I would rather have a coupe, but I had this car given to me for nothing and I feel oblidged to hold on to it since it was a gift. Still though, you can make the four door look almost as good as the coupe with the right touches.
if you prime and sand it yourself, that will save some cost, and i say just install it yourself. Thats what i did ,its really not that hard, and that will save ALOT of time and labor from the shop becasue it takes a little while. I like the kit though
yeah thats pretty high...i work in a paint shop in New York and all i do is sell paint to body shops so yeah you would need a 2k primer and basecoat clear coat paint (standard) can get pricey especially if its red and has pearl or if you dont care a single stage paint like DuPonts after market brand Nason. ive asked the guys from the body shops how much it would be to paint my entire 2dr coupe dx(excluding the door jambs) and it would cost me about $900 thats with prep and all but again i get a discount for that kind of **** but $800 is Very hight for body kits. Go to your local paint dealer like my store pick up the paint and clear and primer yourself and give it to the guys at the bodyshop or even MACCO lol. you will save a lot.
