Okay, that really helped. It seems its just better to pay more for a kit, and get better quality. I know u get what u pay for, just wasnt sure if 299 was a poor quality price. Hmm, in the long run i want the thing to last, and i might be lowering the car like 1-2". Right now i typically am careful and avoid bottoming, but lowering the car will make it harder to avoid. Ill look around some more. What do you guys think is a price to pay for medium quality, i dont want to spend like more then $500.00. The $299 kits will be able to be installed, but your saying they will be a pain in the *** to do so right.

I'd say around $500 or so for a mid to upper end fiberglass kit... honestly, I've seen $300 kits that fit perfectly the first try and I've seen ones that barely fit at all... it really depends on the individual kit, as well as the vehicle. If your car has ever been in even a minor accident, the kit might not fit right. Also, the whole "lowered and kitted" thing regarding scraping really depends on your driving habits. Once youget usedto driving with a kit, it's easy to avoid bottoming out (depending on where you live)... I've heard of people driving cars with kits that almost touched the ground and they never bottomed out. Also, with my kit at least (R34 front, Black widow sides & rear), the car sat around 5" or 6" off the ground with the stock suspension... there's plenty of room to lower. Just a word of advice: don't get a rear bumper that has dual outlets.

you could get a urethane kit from me that is cheaper than what others have on their sites, that is if you have a 96-98

body kits really arent that hard to install, 5 plugs on each bumper, then 2 wheel well screws for each bumper, and then the side skirst are a few screws and they slide off, i say install yourself. I did and i've never dealt with removing bumpers ever and it was pretty easy. DIY and learn something in the process, and save some $$$
