Default can some one clear this up for me?

Okay, so I've been kinda looking into body kits... Not that I'm too serious of a ricer and I sure don't make wild claims about how "fast" my car is.

I might be getting a 240SX S13 next year, but I really don't like the way that they look stock. However, a body kit can change it from looking like an economy grandpa car into a sports car (I think that the civic already looks decent stock so I wouldn't put my priorities into a body kit). SO, anyway, I know that Fiberglass bodykits aren't good news right? I've never had one, but I don't think that they would be good because they would crack and whatnot. I would really like to get a PC material body kit but where to find one for that car? I dunno. Basically all I'm asking is "are fiberglass body kits really that fragile?"

thank you!

Yes it is true that paint can crack easily on fiberglass. A good body kit will cost you around in the thousand.

Ive never personally had one but I see them getting tore up al the time. My old roomate orderd a C-west kit from Japan for his Teg and it fit so friggen perfect and never had a paint or "chepness" isue. But, he paid several thousand for it and it took friggen forever to get here.

You have to learn how to drive you car again when you get one. You can't pull up on park stops or you'll crack the front off. And you have to 'walk' your car over speed bumps and other objects in the road. If you want one go for it, i have one and i love it. I've never had any problems with it. Just be careful and you should be fine.
