Default carbon front end.

ok, the b16 is "on order" looks to be up to a grand there, now time to lighten.

I've found a couple places with good prices on VIS carbon hoods, and I found a place (but can't find it anymore <sigh&gt that had cf fenders and bumper to go with. There do not seem to be any 'name brand' cf fenders and bumpers.

long and short, tearing off entire front sheet metal, and would like to buy the entire front end from One dealer, to minimize the 'he said/she said' factor, and with luck save on shipping. saw that you coupers can even get Doors now, dammit.

Anyone have a pointer, someone that they would recommend for this swap? It is a BUNCH o' cash, and no one here in dm can seem to get anything but the VIS hood.

thanx,

By "lighten" I'm assuming weight reduction. Read this and see if it helps.

Yep, the fenders don't look that great anyway, one has slight damage, and the hood is aftermarket replace, sooo...

anyway, no one has done this I'm guessing? a hundred pounds (minimum) savings translates into approx 5 HP for Free, not to mention longevity for those of us in rust country (I had read the article, but thanx for the reminder).

dammit, back to google...

edit: never mind, I'm selling it..
