Default Dash?

How hard on a scale of one to ten is it to take out your dash to paint it? Is there better options?

thanks

well, the painting is easy

follow this DIY -https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_56988/tm.htm

but you dont have to take out the dash, just pop off all the stuff like heater vents/trim that you dont want painted and then use alot of news paper and cover the rest till you have just the dash open, then spray, i did this in my old car and it worked out very well

if you did want to take out the dash, i have never completely taking in out, but from what people say, it can be a bit of a pain

here are some pics of my old car when i painted my dash, came out really nice, but like i sead...i took EVERYTHING i could off first like all the trim and painted that by themselfs, took the doors apart, back panels apart..the only thing that was left in my car when i painted it was the dash

it really depends what car you have. i can take an ef dash out in about 30 minutes, but i can't even pull a eg radio out without scratching my head for a second.

If you paint your dash you will regret it down the line.

i agree, but it is your car. and if you try to sell it, most people don't want something that has been modded in anyway, especially interior wise.
