Default Do hyper whites make a difference?

Hey guys, I was thinking about some interior/exterior lighting mods, and I heard the whole hid thing can get expensive. So, my question is would hyper white or jdm yellow bulbs be worth the 28 bucks or whatever they are? Would it really look any different/make visability better?

Want to try Xenon ? Don't know where you live, but in some states it's illegal on your car if it was not sold with it... It's like that in Quebec...

I've tried my granpa's car which is a Cadillac CTS and, for sure, you see clearly on the road... xD

The Silverstars are definatley the best bang for your buck, but if you really want some good lights, step up to some HIDs. I had a decent set on my last car and it made a world of difference.

Any color coating at all on the bulb will reduce it's light output.

If you want brighter headlights on a budget, buy a harness kit (or build your own) and run some higher wattage bulbs. I run uncoated 80/100 watt bulbs and it makes a huge difference. Keep in mind, 100 watt bulbs can easily fry your stock wiring!

Don't buy non-name brand bulbs. They usually suck and have short lifespans. Look into PIAA, Sylvania, and Raybrig.

P.S. "JDM" bulbs aren't JDM.

I used silverstars before and they're decent. Good recommendation.

Just whatever you do, don't cheap out if you decide to go HID. Don't buy crappy halogen bulbs either, go name brand. There's a reason they cost more, and that's because they have more research and development put into them. They will light the road up better and last longer than cheap knock-offs.

The Super white bulbs do light the road up better, to answer your question. You want to get a bulb with a temperature of 4300-5000 K (kelvin). I believe that 4800 or something like that is the maximum visibility temperature and is pure white.
