new steering wheel
im looking into getting a new steering wheel for my 99 si (the stock one has a grandma car feel to it 
) but i have some questions about em'. first, wheres a good site/company for steering wheels; second will i still be able to have cruise control and horn; third will i be able to instal myself without blowing up the air bag in my face.
p.s. is there any way to tighten up the steering on my si. i really liked the feel of my 94 teg

weaksauceparts.com has a pretty big selection of them. I'd go with something name brand... Nardi, Momo, etc.
I'd use an NRG steering wheel hub.
You can have cruise control and horn still. Most of the steering wheels (especially name brand ones) come with a horn button and the required wiring for it. For cruise control you'd have to do some custom work and use some momentary switches and place them on the dash instead of the steering wheel. You'd have to wire them to the factory wiring... just gotta figure out where the wiring is before it goes into the steering column. Get a manual for the car that has a wiring diagram and if you know the wires' colors, you can find the wires at the steering column and trace them back up the dash harness until you get to a spot you want to splice at.

When removing the battery, you also have to wait i think like an half hour becuase the asir bag can still set its self off, when battery is not connected for a sertin time i think.
Most after market ones will not let you keep air bag.
Figuring that the air bag needs a 12 volts of power to be set off, once you disconnect the battery, you should not have power anywhere in the car (I know, duh). But I have never heard of a time limit regarding this. Can anyone confirm this?
